The 2010 Variety Bikes for Kids tour will distribute 450 bikes to deserving children aged 7-9 in Waitakere, the North Shore, Rodney, Kaipara, Whangarei and the Far North Districts in the North Island. In the South Island, we will visit Central Otago and Southland districts.

Variety has been donating bikes to deserving children for 10 years. The aim of it is to recognise and reward children who are role models at their s
chools and in their communities with, what is in many cases, their first-ever bike.
This recognition not only benefits the child concerned, but provides an incentive for their peers to follow in their footsteps and become good school and community citizens.
