Mobility Programme
Variety's
Kids on the Move Mobility Programme provides life enriching assistance to
children with physical restrictions. Each
year Variety provides hundreds of children with much needed mobility
equipment including wheelchairs, specialised trikes and special chairs. Funding of
up to $1500 for specialised trikes and bikes are
available for children aged over 6.
Applications under
the Kids on the Move Mobility Programme should be made on the general Grant
Application Form.
Bikes for Kids
Bikes for Kids forms a special part of
the Kids on the move Mobility Programme. Each November/December, Variety gives
children throughout the country their first bike. Deserving children from low
decile schools are nominated by their teachers to receive a bike. Calls for
nominations are sent directly to schools mid-year. More information about Bikes
