Variety at Work is our corporate volunteering programme that provides practical and positive ways for organisations to give back to their local community. They do so by helping low decile schools who are struggling to complete practical projects due to limited funding, time, and people power. Corporate volunteering is also a wonderful team building opportunity and creates good will amongst your staff.

Variety will organise the entire activity from start to finish, including lunch and all project supplies. Your team simply need to turn up, ready to get their hands dirty and have fun!

We can cater to groups from 5 to 25 people, with different projects available to suit your budget and skillsets. The cost for a Variety at Work day starts at $2,000 plus GST and may require additional funding depending on the project needs.

Examples of past volunteering activities include:

  • Creating new vegetable gardens and planting native trees around the school
  • Building and painting new outdoor furniture for students and the community to use
  • Painting murals that are designed by students to tidy up areas around the school
  • Build, paint and furnish a recycled outdoor mud kitchen for junior students to explore
  • Supplying, building, and painting a new playhouse for the junior playground
