Every year, Variety changes the lives of thousands of disadvantaged children through targeted, flexible support. But with increasing poverty rates and increasing requests for our support, we need your help to reach these children that require our assistance.
The Variety Guardians programme has been developed to address this urgent need – to support the unacceptable numbers of children going without shoes, warm bedding or much-needed medical equipment right here in New Zealand, the place we’re proud to call home.
We believe that every child deserves the same opportunities. We hope you do too.
Variety Guardians aims to bring together a small group of our most committed supporters to play a pivotal role in addressing the needs of New Zealand’s disadvantaged children.
To change the lives of Kiwi kids in desperate need.
Scholarships that give disadvantaged Kiwi kids the chance to participate in activities like swimming lessons, tutoring and sports.
Grants to provide
To support disadvantaged children with additional needs with things like medical and mobility equipment.
By becoming a Variety Guardian, you will enable us to keep our work going and take our successful programmes further, supporting more kids in need who require our assistance. By becoming a Variety Guardian and making a significant gift, you will be able to direct your gift to a specific area of our work. Or you might choose to direct your gift where it is needed most at that time, giving us the freedom to respond effectively and with flexibility.
We warmly invite you to become a Variety Guardian with a donation commitment from $2,500 per annum, at a level that you are comfortable with. Please join us and give disadvantaged Kiwi kids the childhood they deserve.
Don’t forget that your donation will be eligible for a 33.3% tax rebate. At the end of each tax year, Variety will send you an annual tax receipt and an IRD Tax Credit claim form to complete.
As a Variety Guardian, we want to respectfully recognise your generous contributions to Variety and your commitment to improving the lives of disadvantaged Kiwi kids.
