Variety is able to respond quickly in an emergency to meet the needs of children in crisis across New Zealand. By supporting a Variety emergency appeal your money will go directly to families who need it most.

While Variety is not a first responder, we are incredibly grateful for those organisations who are, who are working hard on the ground, ensuring that affected individuals and families have the support they need in their time of distress.

For the past thirty years, it’s been Variety’s purpose to provide flexible and tailored support for Kiwi kids and their families across the country. As we learnt in the aftermath of the Christchurch earthquakes, Variety’s support was needed in the months, and even years following, when public attention had shifted. Variety was there for our most vulnerable families, continuing to provide them essential support.

With this in mind, Variety also geared up to help those young people and their families affected by the recent tragedy in Christchurch.

Variety’s kind-hearted families of supporters so generously donated funds which Variety will use to effectively as possible meet the needs of the families impacted by the 15 March 2019 terror attacks.

It will be in the weeks, months and years to follow that Variety will be there to lend that helping hand, no matter what the request might be.

100% of donations received will support Muslim families in Christchurch who were directly affected.
