Variety is there for children in all sorts of challenging circumstances. We fund a broad range of requirements, from much-needed medical equipment, to life-changing mobility needs, to innovative educational initiatives. We have the ability to respond quickly, reaching children in need across the country.
Variety fills the funding gaps. We meet a wide range of grass-roots needs through our Future Kiwi Kids, Caring for Kids and Kids on the Move programmes.

Variety helps improve child health outcomes for disadvantaged Kiwi kids. To reach their full potential these children need assistance to meet their basic needs, and many also need access to specialist healthcare services. |

The Variety Kids on the Move programme provides life-enriching assistance to Kiwi kids so they can get out and about. Whether it's much-needed mobility equipment for a child with physical restrictions, all-abilities playground equipment, bikes for disadvantaged Kiwi kids or a Variety Sunshine coach for a school... it's all about freedom, independence and inclusivity! |

At the heart of Variety's fundraising efforts is the unique Variety Bash - a quirky car rally which travels hundreds of kilometres in March each year fundraising for Kiwi kids, distributing grants, entertaining children and telling the Variety story. It's a mad-cap adventure full of eccentric vehicles, larger than life characters and heart-felt philantropy... then there's the Mini Bash, a long weekend Bash taster held each September. | |
